Thomas Clyne-Salley

Thomas Clyne-Salley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Thomas currently serves as the Corporate Director of Leadership, Talent & Organizational Development at Providence Health Care, a role they assumed in 2022. Previously, they operated their own private practice as a Professional Counsellor and Executive Coach since 2005, providing psychotherapeutic care to individuals and coaching leaders and executives. Thomas also held various positions at Fraser Health Authority, including Leader of Psychological Health and Safety from 2021 to 2022, Leader of Culture Transformation from 2018 to 2021, and Consultant for Leadership & Organizational Development from 2014 to 2018. During their time at Providence Health Care, they served as the Director of Mission Services from 2008 to 2014, Vice President (Acting) of Mission, Ethics & Spirituality from 2011 to 2012, and Leader of Mission Services from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, Thomas was the Manager/Director of Marketing at WTS Media from 1994 to 1999.

Thomas Clyne-Salley has a diverse education history in various fields. In 1994, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Cedarville University. Thomas then pursued a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Western Seminary from 1999 to 2001. In 2004, they completed their Master of Christian Studies degree in Theology at Regent College. From 2007 to 2013, Thomas obtained their Existential-Analytic Psychotherapist certification from the International Society of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis in Vancouver. In 2013, they received Co-Active Coaching training for Healthcare Professionals from The Coaches Training Institute.

Thomas's education continued with certifications in Clear Leadership as a Certified Instructor from 2014 to 2015 and a Human Systems Dynamics Professional Certification from the Human Systems Dynamics Institute in 2015. Additionally, they obtained the Prosci Change Management Practitioner program certification from Prosci in 2015 and is a Certified Canadian Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
