Anna Newsom is currently serving as the EVP and Chief Legal Officer at Providence since April 2022. Prior to their current role, Anna held various positions at Travelers from July 2013 to March 2022, including Group General Counsel, Vice President, and Senior Counsel. Before joining Travelers, Anna worked at Mendes & Mount LLP as a Non-Equity Partner and at the Bronx County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney. Anna holds a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fordham University. Anna also attended Marymount School of New York for their high school education and Bahrain Middle/High School from 1984 to 1988.
