Christopher J. Conti is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in executive search, private equity, and child welfare. As the Managing Partner of Lancor since June 2009, Christopher focuses on board-level search mandates for a diverse clientele. In addition to this role, Christopher serves as Vice Chairman of Providence House, a Cleveland-based crisis nursery dedicated to preventing child abuse and preserving families. Christopher also founded The Operating Partner, a blog that addresses issues faced by Operating Partners in Private Equity. Earlier in their career, Christopher held significant positions at CTPartners and Ulmer & Berne LLP, specializing in corporate litigation. Christopher holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from John Carroll University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law.

Providence House

Providence keeps kids safe and families together, embracing them with support to enhance stability that strengthens communities. We offer free, voluntary emergency shelter and services to children from newborn through twelve years old in a loving, trauma-informed, home-like setting while our Social Work Team helps parents and guardians address their challenges through family preservation services, including case management, counseling, parent education, and connections to more than 130 community partners, to enhance stability for the future. We also provide family preservation services in the community through our Community Education and Resiliency Program.
