Erin George is a professional with a background in social work and counseling. Erin has experience working in various roles such as Site Director, Family Services Manager, Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist, and Youth Counselor. Erin has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at CWRU. Erin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Miami University. Erin has volunteered at the Oxford Community Counseling and Crisis Center and worked as a Special Needs Camp Counselor at Anisfield Day Camp. Erin's experience includes conducting assessments, facilitating family meetings, managing behavior programs for children with Autism, and counseling individuals in crisis situations.
Providence House
Providence keeps kids safe and families together, embracing them with support to enhance stability that strengthens communities. We offer free, voluntary emergency shelter and services to children from newborn through twelve years old in a loving, trauma-informed, home-like setting while our Social Work Team helps parents and guardians address their challenges through family preservation services, including case management, counseling, parent education, and connections to more than 130 community partners, to enhance stability for the future. We also provide family preservation services in the community through our Community Education and Resiliency Program.
