Kate Malone is currently working as Government Relations & Public Policy Advisor at Providence House since October 2021. Previously, Kate held various roles at John Carroll University from August 2014 to October 2021, including Director, Community and Institutional Relations. In their role, Kate collaborated with stakeholders to communicate the university's story, managed strategic planning processes, and served as a liaison to government offices. Prior to that, Kate worked as a Special Assistant at United States Senator Sherrod Brown's office and as an Intern at Dail Eireann. Kate holds a Master of Business Administration from John Carroll University and a Honors Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, & the Public from Xavier University.

Providence House
Providence keeps kids safe and families together, embracing them with support to enhance stability that strengthens communities. We offer free, voluntary emergency shelter and services to children from newborn through twelve years old in a loving, trauma-informed, home-like setting while our Social Work Team helps parents and guardians address their challenges through family preservation services, including case management, counseling, parent education, and connections to more than 130 community partners, to enhance stability for the future. We also provide family preservation services in the community through our Community Education and Resiliency Program.
