Karen Portman has accumulated extensive experience in human resources over several years, currently serving as the HR Manager at Providence Public Library since July 2017. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Talent & Culture Operations Specialist at Veristat from June 2014 to July 2017 and as an HR Administrator at Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp from April 2006 to June 2014. Earlier in Karen's career, an Executive Assistant position was held at Invesco/Merrill Lynch in 2005-2006. Educational background includes attendance at the Community College of Rhode Island.
