Daran Simpson has a wealth of experience in the IT and business fields. Daran began their career in 1998 as a Network Analyst at Alberta Treasury Branches. In 1999, they moved to TELUS as an OSS Architect. In 2004, they joined Shaw Communications as a Director, Customer Experience - Strategy and Innovation. Daran also held the role of Regional Operations Manager - Central Alberta and Director Information Technology. In 2014, they became the Director, Customer Care at Zedi. In 2015, they joined ENMAX as Director, Business Technology Enablement - Digital Transformation and Customer Experience, Director, IT Service Management, and Director, IS ENMAX Power & Competitive Energy. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Vice President Shared Services and Vice President - People, Culture and Technology at Providence Therapeutics.
Daran Simpson has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Lethbridge College, which they obtained between 1991 and 1993. Daran also attended the Haskayne School of Business in 2010, where they completed the Business Essentials Program (Mini - MBA). Additionally, they are certified in the Change Management process in accordance with Prosci methodologies and tools, according to AdPro Change Systems Inc.
