Linda Tamez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of molecular biology and project management. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Molecular Biology Analyst at Laboratorio Estatal de Salud Pública, where they conducted various analyses and extractions, as well as collected and processed specimens for clinical protocols. In 2011, they moved to Universidad de Monterrey and continued their work as a Molecular Biology Analyst, focusing on standardization and detection of M. tuberculosis and identification of Influenza Virus, Dengue Virus, and M.

In 2012, Linda joined the University of Calgary as an MSc student, where they further developed their skills and knowledge in molecular biology. Linda completed their MSc program in 2015.

After that, they transitioned into the industry and joined Oncolytics Biotech Inc. in 2017. There, they initially worked as a Project Manager and later took on the role of Senior Project Manager. Linda'sresponsibilities included managing projects and ensuring their successful execution. In January 2023, Linda left Oncolytics Biotech Inc.

Most recently, Linda has joined Providence Therapeutics as a Project Manager, starting in May 2023. Linda'srole at Providence Therapeutics involves managing projects and coordinating various activities to achieve project goals.

Throughout their career, Linda has gained extensive experience in project management and molecular biology, making their a valuable asset to any organization in these fields.

Linda Tamez has a strong educational background in the field of biomedical engineering and biotechnology. Linda obtained their Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary, where they attended from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology and Genomics at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, from 2005 to 2010.

In addition to their degrees, Linda has also acquired several certifications. Linda holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in December 2020. Linda also obtained an Animal Care and Use Certificate for Mouse Handling from the University of Calgary, and completed courses in Biosafety 1, Biosecurity Level 2 Training, First Aid Intensive Training, Molecular Diagnosis of Influenza Virus, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) for Laboratories. These certifications highlight their commitment to professional development and specialization within their field.
