Laurent Favre

Laurent Favre is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in commercial lending and credit risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Credit Officer at The Provident Bank since January 2018, Laurent manages a credit authority of $15 million and engages in client relations, loan remediation, and program development for business generation. Previously, senior roles included Senior Vice President at Valley National Bank, where credit risk management led to overseeing complex commercial relationships, and Senior Director at First Niagara Bank, where Laurent spearheaded an asset-based lending division. Through a progressive career spanning over two decades, including significant positions at J.P. Morgan Chase and GE Capital, Laurent has developed expertise in managing large credit portfolios, leading teams, and implementing credit policies.
