Rachel Mullins

Rachel Mullins has extensive experience in human resources and crisis intervention. Currently serving as a Crisis Worker for Provident Behavioral Health since December 2021, Rachel provides support to individuals in crisis. Concurrently, Rachel is an Adjunct Instructor for the HR curriculum at Maryville University of Saint Louis, responsible for developing and delivering content for the online HR program. Prior roles include Director of Finance and Human Resources at Charter Communications, where Rachel oversaw HR applications and managed cross-departmental partnerships, and Global HR Technology Lead at Monsanto, focusing on HR processes and system improvements. Rachel's earlier career includes senior HR roles at Anheuser-Busch with responsibilities across the HR lifecycle and budget management. Rachel holds a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Provident Behavioral Health is proud to meet its mission statement each and every day: “Building brighter futures through exceptional behavioral health services, especially for those with the greatest need.” Provident provides evidence-based counseling and psychiatric services to over 2,000 youth and adults annually, many of whom could not otherwise afford professional therapy. We offer services in our Access Center, counseling offices, throughout the community, and through telemental health. Provident’s crisis intervention programs receive around 70,000 calls a year from individuals in crisis, and 24% of those have thoughts of suicide. Our highly trained Crisis Intervention Specialists are available twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year. We are always here. We also offer multiple platforms to address suicide prevention, including community education and training, Survivors of Suicide support groups, long-term follow-up care to suicidal individuals and an interactive peer-support social media site called Feeling Kinda Blue.We are Dedicated staff provide safe, enriching Afterschool programming to hundreds of youth in under-resourced neighborhoods. We care for our kids out of eleven City and County schools under a social emotional model that offers enrichment activities, social clubs, community give-back days and STEM activities.
