Jason Wong

Jason Wong, CPHR SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Most recently, they served as the Human Resources Director for the Provincial Health Services Authority, where they provided strategic leadership and managed the overall HR strategy. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of People Support at Vancity, leading a team of HR professionals in various areas. Jason also held roles at HSBC, where they served as the Head of HR Business Support and HR Service Delivery, as well as Senior Manager in HR Business Support and Learning & Development. Additionally, they volunteered at Jacob's Well, a faith-based community in Vancouver.

Jason Wong, CPHR SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University, which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. Jason also earned an Associate's Certificate in Project Management from ESI International and George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) in 2011. Furthermore, Jason is a certified Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, which they obtained from SHRM during the period of 2019 to 2022. Lastly, they are currently pursuing a CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation from CPHR BC & Yukon, starting in 2011 and expected to complete in 2023.
