Lorianna Bennett

Lorianna is the co-owner of a boutique law firm where she practices primarily in the areas of family law and personal injury. She has served as president of the Kamloops Bar Association and has held multiple terms as an elected member and committee chair for the Canadian Bar Association, B.C. branch.

Lorianna spent several years chairing appeals for the BC Employment and Assistance Appeals Tribunal and is one of the original members and current panel chairs for the BC Health Professions Review Board.

Active in her community, Lorianna served as a director and vice president of administration for the Kamloops & District Crime Stoppers Society, director for the Thompson Rivers University Foundation Board, and director for Venture Kamloops. She has instructed at the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law and the Thompson Rivers University School of Business, and is an active advocate for anaphylaxis education.

Through her community involvement, Lorianna is well-recognized as a community advocate and active fundraiser, particularly for her efforts with the Royal Inland Hospital and Thompson Rivers University foundations. She has been recognized and awarded for her community involvement by both the Canadian Bar

Association, BC Branch and Thompson Rivers University. Her most recent recognition includes the 2020 Kamloops This Week

Reader’s Choice Award for “Best Lawyer”.
