Henk Fernee

Henk Fernee currently serves as the Deputy Sector Manager of Research and Information at Provincie Noord-Holland since December 2020. Prior to this role, Henk took a sabbatical focused on long-distance running and global travel between September 2019 and August 2020. Henk has experience as a Team Leader of Research at the Fries Sociaal Planbureau, facilitating policy development through analysis and monitoring, and served as a Statistical Advisor and Researcher at the Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau, ensuring research quality and innovation. Additional roles include being a member of the Core Scientific Team for the European Social Survey, and working as a Student Assistant at the University of Groningen. Henk's educational background includes a cum laude Research Master's degree in Human Behaviour in Social Context from the University of Groningen, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's in Sociology.
