Matthijs van Buren

Matthijs van Buren is a Geodataspecialist at Provincie Noord-Holland since April 2018, focusing on the exchange, management, accessibility, and development of area information for maintenance and execution purposes. Prior experience includes roles as a Maintenance Engineer at BAM Infra Nederland from July 2014 to March 2018, responsible for managing asset information within the EAM system Maximo, and as a junior Maintenance Engineer at MULTI from July 2014 to June 2016. Matthijs also contributed as a Graduate Research Intern at Deltares from January 2013 to February 2014, completing research on asset management in flood defense systems. Additional experience includes managing a snackbar at Van der Lem horeca bv and assisting research at TU Delft on flood risk coverage in newspapers. Matthijs holds an Engineer's Degree in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis, and Management from Delft University of Technology, completed in 2014, and a VWO diploma from Kennemer College.
