Max Hoekzema

Max Hoekzema has extensive experience in environmental policy, specifically related to water management. Since February 2002, Max has served as a (juridisch) beleidsmedewerker Omgevingsbeleid at Provincie Noord-Holland, focusing on water regulation changes, contributions to regional ordinances, and oversight of water authorities. Previously, Max held the position of secretaris programmateam Investeringskader Waddengebied from June 2019 to March 2021, working on the realization of a comprehensive program through the Wadden Fund in collaboration with multiple provinces. Additionally, Max worked as a beleidsmedewerker water at Provincie Flevoland and has held roles at the Ministerie van Defensie and Gemeente Ommen. Max's educational background includes a degree from Windesheim, completed in 1991.
