Silvia van der Meij

Silvia Van der Meij is an experienced professional currently serving as an ambassador for diversity and inclusion and as the sector manager for spatial development at Provincie Noord-Holland, roles held since February 2007. Silvia leads a team of approximately 50 colleagues on critical issues such as space, housing, coasts, aviation, and energy transition. Prior to this, Silvia held various leadership positions within the spatial development sector and has experience in managing housing initiatives and urban renewal projects. Previously, Silvia worked as a senior consultant in urban and regional development at ECORYS, providing advice to governments and businesses, and began their career as a junior consultant at NEI while completing a degree in social geography at the University of Groningen.
