Yannick Sonne has extensive experience in urban studies and mobility policy, currently serving as a Beleidsadviseur for Asielopvang and Actieve en Veilige Mobiliteit at Provincie Noord-Holland since January 2019. Key responsibilities include topics such as traffic safety, sustainable mobility, infrastructure, and smart mobility. Prior roles include Beleidsmedewerker Mobiliteit and Projectsecretaris Mobiliteit at Provincie Noord-Holland, as well as various positions in academia and research, including a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from the University of Vienna and previous work at the International New Town Institute. Sonne has also contributed as a freelance editor for the magazine "Nieuw Amsterdam" focusing on urban development. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in General Sociology and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam.
