Herman Graaff

Herman Graaff is a seasoned finance and risk management professional with extensive experience in various roles within the banking and public sectors. Currently serving as Programma controller at Provincie Overijssel since May 2022, Graaff previously held the position of Adviseur Finance en Control at Gemeente Deventer from September 2020 to March 2022. Prior to this, Graaff worked at de Volksbank, where titles included Head of Model Validation and Senior Risk Manager for Capital, Liquidity, and Market Risk from October 2015 to August 2020. Earlier experience includes a role as Medewerker Model Validation at SNS Bank N.V. and participation as Statenlid CDA at Provincie Utrecht. Graaff began a career as a Consultant at Infram and has a solid academic background with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Twente, complemented by foundational studies in Science and Technology at Willem Lodewijk Gymnasium.
