Alex Szwed

Alex Szwed has a long and varied work history. Alex began their career in 1991 as a Manager/Engineer at St. Jude Medical. During their time there, they saved the company in excess of $20.4M by creating and leading programs on building, inspecting, and testing cardiac products. Alex also developed a world class competency and training management system. In 2005, they became the Managing Director of Pyramid Development Corp, a privately-held residential construction and development company with revenue of $5.1M and nine employees. Here, they were responsible for business development, marketing, human resources, administration, finance, and sales. In 2008, they moved to Advanced Bionics as a Senior Quality Manager. Here, they proactively managed the Document Control, Change Control, System Validation, Configuration Management, and Record Retention quality groups. In 2014, they joined Arthrex as the Division Quality Manager. Finally, in 2021, they became the Director of Quality Assurance at Synaptic Medical, a startup dedicated to delivering and developing devices to treat Atrial Arrhythmias in the Cardiac Rhythm Management Market. Alex is currently slated to become the Director of Quality at Provisio Medical in 2022.

Alex Szwed received their MBA from Pepperdine University in 2007 and their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
