Maciej Gidrewicz

Maciej Gidrewicz has over 15 years of experience in the field of analytics, business intelligence, software design, and solution architecture. In 2005, they began their career as a Software Architect/Developer (consultant) at Travelers Canada. Maciej then moved to OnTrack Engineering Ltd. as an Application Architect (consultant) in 2007. In 2009, they took on the role of Senior Software Developer/ Architect, BI at Shaw Communications. In 2011, they became a BI Architect at Enerplus. In 2014, they worked as a Technical Consultant at The City of Calgary, providing technical expertise and leadership in the areas of data delivery, software design, SDLC, and solution architecture. In 2019, they began working as a Technical Consultant at AutoSense Controls Inc. In 2020, they held roles as Lead Integration Architect at Symend and Business Intelligence Consultant at Trans Mountain. Most recently, they have been a Solution Architect @Business Applications & Data Modernization at Long View Systems since 2021, and is currently a Lead Analytics Architect at Provision Analytics since 2022.

Maciej Gidrewicz has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Poznan University of Technology and has completed several certifications from Databricks and Microsoft. These certifications include a Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 (obtained in December 2021), a Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate (obtained in October 2021), a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (obtained in August 2021), a Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (obtained in August 2021), a Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (obtained in July 2021), a Solutions Architect Essentials (obtained in February 2022), a Developer Essentials (obtained in January 2022), and a Developer Foundations (obtained in January 2022). Additionally, Maciej Gidrewicz has also completed Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certifications.
