Carl Allen has worked in the corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions industry since 1992. Carl began their career at Bank of America in the role of Mergers & Acquisitions, before moving to BancBoston Robertson Stephens in 1999 to work in the same role. In 2001, they joined Forrester Research as a Venture Capitalist, followed by Hewlett-Packard in 2004 as a Strategy and M&A specialist. In 2008, Carl founded Whitewater Corporate Finance, a boutique corporate finance advisory business, and also took on the role of Director - Invest at Gartner. In 2019, Carl co-founded both Dealmaker Wealth Society LLC and Dealmaker Wealth Society (An Agora Company). Carl is currently the Co-Founder of both companies and the leader of the Business Buying Accelerator program, which is aimed at training people to buy and sell businesses without risking their own capital. The goal is to create 1,000 new business owners/dealmakers by the end of 2018.
Carl Allen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Leeds between 1989 and 1992. Carl then attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2004 to 2005, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Entrepreneurship. Finally, they attended The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2006, obtaining an Executive MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
