Martin Penchev

Martin Penchev, MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Martin started their career as a Medical genetics intern at the National Genetics Laboratory of Sofia in 2014. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Medical student at the University Hospital of Nîmes, where they also had a clinical research internship at the Institut for medical device evaluation in 2019. Currently, they are working at Proxiad SEE, starting as a Biomedical Software Engineer in April 2021 and has recently transitioned to the role of Biomedical Data Science & AI Innovation Lead in July 2023.

Martin Penchev, MD has a comprehensive education history. Martin obtained their Medical Doctor (MD) degree from the University of Montpellier in 2013, specializing in Medicine. In the subsequent years, they pursued further education, earning a Master of Computer Science and Technology in Medical Sciences from the University of Montpellier in 2017-2018. Additionally, they completed a Master of Social and Human Sciences in Social Science at the same institution in 2018-2019. Continuing their academic journey, Martin Penchev also attained a DU (Diplôme Universitaire) in Clinical evaluation of medical devices at the University of Montpellier from 2018 to 2019.

In recent years, Martin Penchev has shown an interest in technology and artificial intelligence. Martin completed various modules at the Software University (SoftUni), including an Artificial Intelligence Module in 2022-2023 and a C++ Development Module in 2022.

Furthermore, Martin Penchev holds numerous additional certifications, obtained in 2021. These certifications cover a wide range of topics, such as React Hooks, PyTorch Essential Training: Deep Learning, Python for Data Science Essential Training, and many more.
