Prerna Chhajer

Prerna Chhajer has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design, specifically in product and UX design. Prerna began their career as a web designer at Linux Scrappers Technologies (P) Ltd in 2012, followed by a role as a web designer at LogicSpice Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. in 2012-2013. Prerna then worked as a web designer at Pyrumas Software Pvt. Ltd. in 2013. Prerna then transitioned to DogSpot in 2013-2014, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining websites and publicity materials.

In 2014, Prerna joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Senior Experience Designer, where they worked on designing solutions for brands such as American Express, Telstra, and Prudential. Prerna also designed solutions for employee and patient management. During their time at Cognizant, they conducted heuristic evaluations, user research, and user journey mapping.

Following their role at Cognizant, Prerna worked at FabHotels in 2018-2019 as a Product Designer. Their responsibilities included designing a simple and user-friendly booking website for consumers. Prerna collaborated with the design team to conceptualize and prototype new interactions and features based on extensive user studies. Prerna also conducted user testing, interviews, and competitive analysis.

In 2019, they joined Nagarro as a UX Lead Consultant, where they provided leadership in UX design. Prerna then moved to Decimal Technologies in 2019-2021, where they served as a Senior UX Designer.

Most recently, Prerna Chhajer joined Proximity Labs in 2021 as a Senior Product Designer, where they continue to contribute their expertise in product design.

Prerna Chhajer pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Engineering from Maharishi Arvind Institute of Engineering and Technology. This educational journey lasted from 2008 to 2012. In addition, Prerna obtained a certification in "Design Kit: The Course for Human-Centered Design" from NovoEd in May 2015.
