Ben Bonnaerens

Ben Bonnaerens has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Team Manager for Voice Core Technology and IMS Projects at Proximus since July 2013. Previous roles include VoIP IMS Specialist at Proximus and various positions at Alcatel-Lucent, such as MSAN/GPON Product Architect and SIP R&D Team Leader, from January 2000 to June 2013. Ben began a career at Alcatel from 1995 to 1999 as a Switching Integration Test Engineer. Academic achievements include a magna cum laude distinction in a post-academic course on ICT networking, security, and software development from Ghent University (2008-2009), as well as magna cum laude honors for an industrial engineering degree in Electronics/Telecommunications from HOGENT (1990-1994).
