Laurence Hubbard

Laurence Hubbard is an experienced data professional currently serving as the Director of Data at Proxymity since September 2024. Previously, Laurence held key roles at IMG ARENA, including Head of Technology (Data) and Technical Lead in Data & DevOps, from December 2019 to July 2024. At Toyota Connected Europe, Laurence defined a global data-driven strategy alongside executive leadership and led efforts to establish a single source of truth for connected car and smart-city data. Earlier experience includes technical leadership positions at comparethemarket.com and Virgin Media, where Laurence was instrumental in advancing data engineering practices and building innovative data solutions. Laurence’s career began with consulting at FDM Group and personal tutoring, complemented by a BSc in Mathematics from Loughborough University.
