Alain Speed

Alain Speed is an experienced architectural professional with a diverse background in technical standards auditing and project management. Currently serving as a Technical Standards Auditor at PRP LLP since March 2020, Alain previously held roles at FLANAGAN LAWRENCE as an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Manager and Principal Designer. Past positions include QA Manager and Technical Coordinator at PDP London, where contributions were made on high-end residential projects, including the Chelsea Barracks town houses. Alain’s earlier experience spans senior architect roles at THE TOMEI AND MACKLEY PARTNERSHIP LLP and various architectural positions at firms such as S.O.M., GMW Architects, and Chapman Taylor Partners. Alain holds a BScArch DipArch RIBA degree from UCL and has pursued further education in Principal Designer and Design Risk Management as well as Domestic Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management.
