Freya Q. Liu

Freya Q. Liu has a diverse work experience in the fields of research, education, and academia. Freya Q. started their career as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2011, where they worked until June 2013. Following that, they joined the State University of New York College at Oswego as an Assistant Professor of Psychology, a role they held from July 2013 to December 2018. In 2022, Freya co-founded and became the Co-Director of Wilding Education Forest School, which focuses on child-centered Nature Immersion learning. Additionally, they are a Research Associate at PRR since February 2023.

Freya Q. Liu has a strong educational background in the field of neuroscience and behavior. Freya Q. obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field from the same institution, graduating in 2007. Freya Q. began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Peking University in 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Freya Q. Liu has also pursued further certifications to enhance their skillset. Freya Q. obtained certifications in "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" and "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" from Coursera.
