With extensive experience in public relations, Cynthia has been a Board Member of PRSA Detroit since 2020 and previously held senior management roles at KellyOCG and Kelly, where responsibilities included developing B2B communications strategies and executing PR initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Manager at BAE Systems, where strategic communications campaigns were implemented to enhance brand awareness and community relations, and account management roles at The Millerschin Group and Bianchi Public Relations, Inc., focusing on media relations for automotive stakeholders. Cynthia holds a Master's degree in Management with a specialization in Marketing from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations from Oakland University.

The Detroit Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) was established in 1947 and is now the premier organization for Southeast Michigan public relations professionals. As the sixth largest chapter of PRSA we serve as a gateway to public relations professionals by providing educational and career opportunities for nearly 400 local members – from students to seasoned professionals – who represent business and industry, agencies, solo practitioners, associations, non-profit organizations and government entities. Our long-standing commitment to education of professionals and students, is the reason why we offer invaluable programming that includes conferences, professional development sessions, a consistently strong accreditation (APR) preparation program and extensive New Professionals’ development, along with a number of other supportive activities.
