Gadwyn Banas

Gadwyn Banas is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President - Head of Finance Operations and Interim Finance Controller at Pru Life UK since January 2020, while also holding the role of Vice President for Finance Transformation and IFRS 17 Delivery Lead. Prior to this, Gadwyn held the position of Director - Insurance Advisory at Deloitte Singapore from July 2017 to June 2019 and served as Senior Manager at Deloitte from March 2016 to June 2017. Gadwyn's career includes a role as Principal at the Bermuda Monetary Authority, focusing on Insurance Supervision from January 2014 to February 2016, and Senior Manager at BDO LLP specializing in Insurance Audit from June 2012 to January 2014. Additionally, Gadwyn worked as Audit Manager and Audit Senior at Ernst & Young between October 2005 and May 2012. Gadwyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Santo Tomas, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
