Samuel Morris P.e.

Samuel Morris, P.E. is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and transportation engineering. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Prudent Engineering, LLP since April 2021, Samuel previously held the role of Senior Civil Engineer at the New York State Thruway Authority for over 26 years, where responsibilities included leading design efforts for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and toll facilities, as well as general highway design. Prior to this, Samuel worked as a Senior Civil Engineer at the New York State Department of Transportation, focusing on traffic engineering and safety, bridge inspections, and preliminary design projects. Samuel began the engineering career as a Civil Engineering Intern, gaining valuable field and laboratory experience. Samuel holds a Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
