Safinas Mohd Ibrahim

Safinas Mohd Ibrahim has a strong background in human resources and has held various leadership roles throughout their career. They started their career at Tanjung Rhu Resort as a Human Resource Manager from 2006 to 2008. Safinas then worked as the Head of Human Resources at Boustead Langkawi Shipyard Sdn. Bhd. from 2008 to 2009. They continued their career at Boustead Penang Shipyard Sdn. Bhd. as the Head of Human Resources & Administration from 2009 to 2011.

Safinas then moved to Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Berhad, where they served as the Manager of Group Human Capital Management from 2011 to 2013 and Senior Manager of Group Human Capital Management from 2014 to 2015.

Following this, Safinas joined AXA Affin Insurance and held multiple positions, including Vice President of C&B and HR Operations from 2015 to 2017 and Vice President of Human Resources from 2017 to 2018. They then transitioned to AXA and took on the role of Senior Vice President of People Intelligence & Project Activation, leading the region from Latin America to South East Asia from 2018 to 2019.

Safinas continued their career at AXA Affin Insurance, where they worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer from 2019 to 2020. They then took on the role of Chief People Officer from 2020 to 2023. Safinas then joined Generali as the Chief Human Resources Officer from April to December 2023.

Currently, Safinas is working at Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad as the Chief Human Resources Officer, starting from January 2024.

Safinas Mohd Ibrahim holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the University of South Australia. Safinas has also obtained several additional certifications, including "INSEAD - Leading Organisations in Disruptive Times" from INSEAD in 2023, "Prosci Certified Change Practitioner" from Prosci in 2022, "Human Resources: Strategic Workforce Planning" and "Talent Management" from LinkedIn in 2020, and "LUMA Institute Certified Practitioner" from LUMA Institute in 2019. Safinas also has a certification as a "Certified Lead Auditor - ISO 9000 Series".
