Gina Valente

Gina Valente, CPA, CGMA, serves as the Director of Operational Risk Management at Prudential Financial since October 2011, with responsibilities that include administering SOX and MAR compliance programs across 300 business processes and 2,600 key controls within 30 domestic and international businesses. Prior roles at Prudential include Manager of Business Group Risk Management and Manager of Financial Controls, as well as leading Internal Audit projects focused on Financial Management. Gina's early experience includes working as an Intermediate Accountant at WilkinGuttenplan, and internships at KPMG US and Mathematica, the latter providing foundational experience in private accounting. Gina Valente holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey.
