Musa Sebuufu

Musa Sebuufu has a diverse work experience in the field of actuarial science. Musa is currently serving as the Head of Actuarial at Prudential Uganda since September 2022. Prior to this, Musa worked as the Director (Uganda) at ARGEN Actuarial Solutions from May 2018 to August 2022. Musa also held the position of Assistant Lecturer in Actuarial Science at Makerere University from April 2014 to August 2022. Musa has gained industry experience as the Head of Ordinary Life Business & Actuarial at ICEA Life Assurance Uganda Ltd from February 2016 to March 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Actuarial Assistant at Makerere University from August 2011 to March 2013. Musa's professional journey started at MTN Uganda in December 2008, where they served as an Operational Risk Officer until August 2011. Musa began their career at the National Insurance Corporation Ltd as an Underwriter, specifically handling Life & Pensions, from November 2006 to December 2008.

Musa Sebuufu's education history includes a Master of Statistics degree with a field of study in Bio-Statistics from Makerere University, which they completed between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Diploma in Actuaria Techniques (DAT) with a focus on Actuarial Profession at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) from 2007 to 2012. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Actuarial Science from Makerere University, which they completed from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Musa Sebuufu attended Kibuli Secondary School, although the exact dates and degree obtained are not available.
