Omer Kaldirim

Omer Kaldirim is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an MPD Supervisor at Pruitt since February 2022. Prior to this role, Kaldirim worked as a Drilling Engineer at Drillsoft from March 2019 to February 2022 and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from July 2013 to December 2021, focusing on deepwater drilling operations and well control. Kaldirim contributed to industry knowledge as a consultant at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, co-authoring a report on dual gradient drilling systems. Additional experience includes positions as a Petroleum Engineer at Delta O&G and a Mechanical Engineer at Delta International Oil and Seda Insaat. Kaldirim holds a PhD in Engineering and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Yeditepe University.
