Terry Downing

Terry Downing has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. From 2019, Terry has been working as the Vice President at PRxDigital Silicon Valley. Prior to this role, starting from 2016, Terry worked as the Partnerships and Outreach Manager at Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, where they successfully increased funding and developed partnerships with corporate organizations. From 2014 to 2019, Terry served as a Volunteer, Fundraiser, and Parent Advocate at 220MM Medical Psych Hospital at VMC, working towards establishing a psychiatric hospital for children in Santa Clara County. From 2013 to 2016, Terry mentored parents of children with chronic medical conditions at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, providing care-management strategies and emotional support. Prior to this, from 2003 to 2016, Terry worked as a Leader at Weight Watchers, helping individuals achieve their weight loss goals and training new leaders. From 1991 to 1998, Terry held the role of Director of Fundraising at QSP Reader's Digest. Lastly, from 1987 to 1996, Terry served as the President and Founder of Video Estate Productions, producing videos for various companies and organizations.

Terry Downing attended Presentation High School from 1979 to 1983. After completing high school, Terry pursued higher education at San Jose State University from 1983 to 1987. During this time, Terry earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Radio, TV, and Film, with a minor in Advertising.
