Chris Mahl

Chris Mahl is President & COO at Pryon. With more than two decades of experience at some of the world’s most well-known enterprise software companies, Chris specializes in scaling go-to-market and operational strategies for technology companies at all stages of growth. As part of the leadership team during the formative years of Salesforce and Informatica, Chris played a key role in setting the trajectory for these now market-leading brands by helping transform them into profitable, customer-centric organizations. Prior to joining Pryon, Chris’ most recent positions include Executive Vice President and CRO at Opentron Labworks Inc., and President and CRO at Botkeeper, an AI-based automated bookkeeping solution, where he helped lead the company’s growth into and through multiple funding rounds. As an executive at Right Media Exchange, the first digital advertising media exchange network of its kind at the time, Chris drove the company’s go-to-market, customer success and services strategies, leading to the company’s successful acquisition by Yahoo. Drawn to the rapid pace and possibilities of the venture capital industry, Chris has also spent the past 15 years as an advisor and investor in startups and venture capital firms, bringing a unique combination of deep technical proficiency and proven growth strategy experience to promising growth-stage companies. Chris holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston College.
