Roel Peeters has had a long and diverse work experience spanning over three decades. roel began their career in 1990 at Alcatel Bell, where they worked in sales until 1996. In 1997, they joined Barco as the country director for Russia, a role they held until 1999 when they transitioned to become a Market Development Manager until 2001. From 2002 to 2004, they served as the Regional Sales Manager at Golden Telecom. In 2005, Roel joined Barco again, this time as the Sales Manager for Media Entertainment, a position they held until 2011. In 2012, they took on the role of Sales Manager LED at XL Video until 2013. Finally, since 2015, Roel has been working as a sales director at Prysm Inc.

Roel Peeters pursued their education at KU Leuven from 1984 to 1987. During this period, they obtained a degree in Economics with a focus on International Economy and Economic Policy. Additionally, they also specialized in Macro Economy and Economic Policy, further enhancing their knowledge in these areas.
