Cem Basar is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in the cable and telecommunications industry, currently serving as VP Operations for Oceania & South East Asia at Prysmian Group since March 2009. Basar's career at Prysmian has included roles such as Oceania & South East Asia Industrial Director, ASEAN Industrial Director, Telecom Solutions Supply Chain Director, and Prysmian Indonesia Plant Manager. Prior to joining Prysmian, Basar worked at Turk Prysmian Cable & Systems in various capacities, including Telecom Cables Production Chief and Logistics Energy Cables Production Planning. Basar's educational background includes a CORe in Business Administration and Management from Harvard Business School Online and degrees from Istanbul Bilgi University and Uludag University.
