Heiko M.

Heiko M. has extensive work experience in various roles related to data science, machine learning, and SAP development. Heiko started their career as a Database Developer at GeoService in 1998. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as an SAP ABAP Consultant at Octavia AG, where they supported client SAP systems and integrated external systems with SAP. Heiko then started their own consulting firm, Heiko Maerz IT Consulting, from 2002 to 2006, specializing in SAP ABAP consulting.

In 2006, Heiko joined Samsung SDS as an SAP ABAP Consultant, where they were responsible for developing and supporting the EMEA enterprise resource planning system for Samsung Electronics Europe. Heiko worked on projects to centralize user exit maintenance, design dialog transactions, and develop interfaces for various functionalities. Heiko stayed with Samsung SDS until 2011.

From 2011 to 2018, Heiko worked for SThree plc as an SAP Technical Developer, where they supported the global enterprise resource planning system. Heiko'sresponsibilities included maintenance of user exits, development of dialog transactions and reports, and process integration with other systems like SalesForce.

In 2020, Heiko joined METADATAWORKS as a Data Scientist. In this role, they used data science and machine learning to make data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable. Heiko conducted exploratory data analysis and utilized visual analytics to provide stakeholders with insights. Heiko also had responsibilities in agile product ownership and key account management. Heiko'stenure at METADATAWORKS lasted until 2021.

Most recently, in 2022, Heiko joined PS AI Labs as a Data Scientist.

Heiko M. pursued their education chronologically, starting with a Master of Science - MSc degree in Data Science from City, University of London, which they completed from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended The University of Göttingen from 1991 to 1998, where they earned a Master's degree in Business Management.
