Chris Byers

Chris Byers is the current Fund Manager at PS27 Ventures. Prior to their current position, Byers was a Self Employed Consultant from August 2015 to June 2020, where they created a cash flow forecast model and cash management processes for a $3M start-up consumer products company. Chris also restructured the financial statements to better align with business needs and improve the quality of financial reporting. In addition, Byers provided financial modeling services for multiple start-ups seeking venture capital investment and supported the founders with pitches to investors. Furthermore, they proposed and implemented cost savings initiatives at a non-profit community event company, which allowed for an event to transition from incurring large annual operating losses to breakeven. Lastly, they developed an investment analysis template for a client to use to model investment opportunities and to present the business case in a consistent format for organizational review and approval. Before their consulting career, Byers was a Real Estate Broker Associate at EXIT Real Estate Gallery and the Director of Finance at Office Depot from January 2012 to May 2014.
