Chin Yit Choo

Chin Yit Choo has worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at PSC - Power Systems Consultants since 2023. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2023, Choo was a Senior Protection Engineer at Vector Limited where they provided specialist support to develop and maintain distribution network protection systems and participated in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for substation projects. From 2007 to 2012, Choo worked at Contact Energy Ltd as an Electrical Engineer providing technical support for Gas Turbine Power Plants and managing plant modifications. In 2005, Choo worked at ABB as a Reliability Electrical Engineer where they monitored performance and developed instruction manuals for the safety operation of electrical drives.

Chin Yit Choo earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at The University of Auckland in 2004. In 2005-2006, Chin Yit Choo continued their education at The University of Auckland, earning a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
