Janine van Aswegen

Janine van Aswegen is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Marketing Officer at PSG Financial Services since February 2023, Janine previously held the position of Deputy General Manager Marketing at The Shoprite Group of Companies from January 2017 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing a team of over 30 and developing customer-centered marketing strategies for multiple brands. Prior to this, Janine was the Business Unit Director for South Africa & Africa at Ninety9 cents, overseeing client service teams for prominent accounts, and served as Marketing Manager at Edgray Distributors, where corporate marketing functions were managed. Janine also held the position of Business Unit Director at GRID Worldwide Branding and Design, focusing on branding and advertising strategies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) (Hons) in Marketing from the University of Pretoria.
