Jacob Farrar

Jacob Farrar has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jacob currently holds the position of Director, University Relations & Talent Acquisition at PSI Solutions since January 2023. Previously, they worked at The University of Akron as a Photographer for the Athletics Marketing department from September 2018. Jacob also served as the Director of the Taylor Institute for Direct Marketing at the university from June 2013 to December 2022. Prior to that, Jacob was the Senior Director of Corporate Engagement and Marketing at the College of Business - The University of Akron from September 2020 to December 2022.

Earlier in their career, Jacob worked at ADT Security Services as the Senior Manager of Telemarketing & E-Commerce Compliance from July 2011 to June 2013. Jacob also held the role of Senior Manager - Call Center Compliance at Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Inc. from March 2003 to July 2011. In addition, Jacob gained valuable experience during a Summer Residency with the Sony Card and Marketing Services team at Sony Corporation of America in 2002. Jacob started their career as a Database Supervisor at Mediapassage.com in 2000 and worked as a Media Planning Intern at Merkley Newman Harty in 1999.

Jacob Farrar attended Brigham Young University - Idaho from 1992 to 1997, where they earned an AA degree in Broadcasting. Jacob then went on to Brigham Young University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a BA in Marketing Communications. Later, in 2001 to 2002, Jacob attended Northwestern University, earning a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications with a focus on Direct, Database, and E-Commerce.
