Emily Elsasser has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Emily served as the President of Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology, from May 2016 onwards. Emily was also a member of the Student Entertainment Board, where they worked on different committees over the years, gaining experience in speakers, marketing, and special events. Emily worked as a Project Worker at Insight KC from June to August 2017. Emily was a Graduate at Washington State University from August 2013 to May 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Teacher Assistant at the university, responsible for grading and providing feedback to students. Emily also gained hospitality experience at Anthonys Beach Cafe, where they worked as a hostess, busser, and server from May 2014 to August 2016. Emily was a Nanny for a family from August 2011 to August 2015. Lastly, Emily worked as a Junior Cheer Coach at Edmonds Woodway High School from May to December 2012.

Emily Elsasser attended Washington State University from 2013 to 2017. Emily earned a degree in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences. Additionally, they pursued minors in Women Studies and Sociology, also within the College of Arts and Sciences.

Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology

Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to undergraduate, graduate, and faculty men and women who make the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Psi Chi's sister honor society is Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for community and junior colleges. Psi Chi functions as a federation of chapters located at about 1,100 senior colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Ireland and New Zealand. The Central Office is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A Board of Directors, composed of psychologists who are Psi Chi members and are elected by the chapters, guides the affairs of the organization and sets policy with the approval of the chapters.
