Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology
Kaitlyn Cestaro has a range of work experience in various roles and organizations. Kaitlyn is currently serving as the President of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, since April 2023. In their previous role, they were the Director of Philanthropy and Director of Community Service for Chi Omega Iota Mu from January 2022 to December 2022, where they facilitated fundraising and community service events. Kaitlyn has also worked as a Research Assistant at Quinnipiac University - College of Arts and Sciences since January 2022. Prior to that, they were a Quinnipiac University Student Ambassador, giving tours and answering questions for prospective students and families. Kaitlyn also worked as a Peer Tutor and maintained a professional relationship with students while tutoring various subjects. In addition, Kaitlyn has experience as a 1:1 Instructional Aide at COMMACK SCHOOL DISTRICT, where they followed individualized education plans and provided support to students. Kaitlyn has also interned at the Consultation Center at Yale from September 2022 to May 2023.
Kaitlyn Cestaro started their education in 2020 studying Clinical Psychology at Quinnipiac University. Kaitlyn is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree, with an expected graduation year of 2024. In February 2022, Kaitlyn also obtained a certification in Social & Behavioral Research Basic Course from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program).

Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to undergraduate, graduate, and faculty men and women who make the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Psi Chi's sister honor society is Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for community and junior colleges. Psi Chi functions as a federation of chapters located at about 1,100 senior colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Ireland and New Zealand. The Central Office is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A Board of Directors, composed of psychologists who are Psi Chi members and are elected by the chapters, guides the affairs of the organization and sets policy with the approval of the chapters.
