Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology
Lauren Garabedian has a range of work experiences starting from 2018. Their most recent work was as a Research Intern at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they worked on projects related to the SARS Covid Lab and general research. Prior to that, they worked as a Student Assistant at the same university and also served as a Peer Mentor, providing guidance and support to incoming undergraduates. Lauren also held the position of Vice President at Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology. In 2018, they participated in an externship at Blizzard Entertainment, where they gained insight into the different product teams and played games as part of the Quality Assurance team.
Lauren Garabedian attended Arnold O. Beckman High School from 2015 to 2019. Lauren then enrolled at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in 2019, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, planning to graduate in 2023. In the summer of 2019, they also completed The Animation Course's Character Drawing - Level 2 program.

Psi Chi The International Honor Society in Psychology
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to undergraduate, graduate, and faculty men and women who make the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS). Psi Chi's sister honor society is Psi Beta, the national honor society in psychology for community and junior colleges. Psi Chi functions as a federation of chapters located at about 1,100 senior colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Ireland and New Zealand. The Central Office is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A Board of Directors, composed of psychologists who are Psi Chi members and are elected by the chapters, guides the affairs of the organization and sets policy with the approval of the chapters.
