Dan Courtright is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a Captain at Southwest Airlines since January 2014, with prior experience as a First Officer. Courtright is also a Telemark Ski Instructor with the PSIA - AASI since February 2020, holding a Level 2 Telemark Certification. As Chair Person and Voting Member of the Central Colorado Regional Airport Advisory Board since November 2017, Courtright provides volunteer advisory services on operational safety. Additional roles include Ski Instructor at Monarch Mountain since December 2020 and a 20-year service history in the Wyoming Air National Guard, retiring as a C-130H3 Aircraft Commander and Flight Safety Officer in May 2020. Courtright’s educational background includes a Master of Aeronautical Science in Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a B.S. in Military History from the United States Air Force Academy.
