Matthew Alport

Matthew Alport is an accomplished entertainment professional with extensive experience in stage production and instruction. Currently serving as an Entertainment Rigger for Disney Cruise Line since May 2024, Matthew also holds positions as Entertainment Stage Staff at Celebrity Cruises, Inc. and Automation Technician at Carnival Corporation. With a background in ski instruction and technical theatre, Matthew has been a Certified Professional Ski Instructor at Blue Hills Ski Area and a Certified Level 1 Alpine Instructor/Children's Specialist with PSIA-AASI since 2017. Previous roles include Scenic Carpenter at Ogunquit Playhouse, Technical Theatre Intern at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, Theater Technician at Saddle River Youth Theatre/RiverStage, and Scenic Technician with the College Light Opera Company. Matthew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre and Technical Theatre from Dean College in 2021.
