Jelle Metsers

Jelle Metsers has over 7 years of work experience in the biotechnology industry. Jelle began their career at Ablynx in 2014 as a Research Associate, where they worked until 2015. Following this, Jelle joined Immunocore Limited as a Scientist from 2015 to 2016, and later as a Senior Scientist from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, Jelle has been working at Akamis Bio, where they started as a Senior Scientist in October 2019. Jelle was later promoted to Principal Scientist in January 2022 and continues to hold this position.

Jelle Metsers obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Bioscience Engineering with a specialization in Cell and Gene Biotechnology from Ghent University in an unspecified year. Subsequently, Jelle pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Bioscience Engineering with a focus on Cell and Gene Biotechnology at the same university, graduating in 2013.
