Hong Hu

Hong Hu is a seasoned professional in cryogenic engineering, currently serving as the Director of Cryogenic and System Engineering at PsiQuantum since July 2021, following several progressive roles including Senior R&D Manager and Group Lead. Prior to joining PsiQuantum, Hong held the position of Cryogenic Mechanical Engineer at Argonne National Laboratory from August 2019 to July 2021, and held various engineering and managerial roles at Philips from July 2015 to August 2019. Hong's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Cryogenic and Aerospace from the University of Florida, along with an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, enhancing expertise in business management and operations. The diverse educational background further encompasses a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, respectively.
